Thank you for all your congratulatory messages on the blog and Facebook, it feels nice to get the good wishes and appreciation. So..what comes after the century milestone I ask myself? Frequent posts, more styling projects, collaborations? Yes all of these and more (at least that's how I want to visualize it!).
Sounds challenging? It will always be....! With my younger one turning 18 months next week I'm not sure if life is necessarily going to get easier or harder :-)
Anyway, let me tackle this interesting challenge first. One that requires me to apply my styling abilities in a smart and creative way! Here's to a new mini series- 'Klassy Style challenge'
Most people around me know of my love for reading and collecting fashion mags and they often ask how easy (or difficult) it is to actually wear something featured in them. If you're thinking "yea, tell me!" then read on ....
|'Color spliced' top- Esprit (at half price), Black jeggings- SES Fashion, Patent peeptoe flats- Annapelle, Red tote bag- Diana Ferrari (scored at a 3rd of the price), Necklace- Kmart, sunglasses- Guess|
As I leafed through this month's InStyle and studied the big spring trends, a bright idea occurred to me; that's how I decided to kick start this series.
A simple key piece was all it took to crack this fabulous spring trend and its a mighty cost effective look too!
Tip: Keep the accessories really simple as the key piece takes center stage. Best to work with neutrals or a color from the same palette as the key piece.
Check out the trend come to life from the pages of the magazine!
I'm eager to know what you think...so share your views!
