Mumbai Diary: Part 1 of 4

Hey readers! Thanks for some of your comments on the previous post, makes me feel all the more welcome in my favorite city!!

Here's a glimpse of the happenings in my first couple of weeks here-

1. Hair hi- lights:

Loving my new hair cut and color done at Juice beauty Salon, loved the hospitality and customer friendly approach! Now that's something I certainly miss when I'm not here!!

2. Hidesign:

As soon as I had cast my eyes on this elegant beauty, I instantly knew it had to belong to me! What I'm loving about my newest Hidesign purchase- Classic design, chic snake skin texture and beautiful olive green color. I couldn't have asked for more in a handbag and now I can't wait to do some good styling with this piece!

3.Printed wedge heels, Pavers England:

Visited the mall right on day 2 and found this gorgeous pair of printed wedge heels. Had to grab them inspite of 'no more shoe shopping' plans!
 

4. Finding the perfect ethnic attire:

What I love most about being back home is, there is always an occasion to dress up and a special one it was. My dear first cousin's Baby shower. The excitement of finding the right outfit for the evening was almost about to turn into disappointment, when none of the outfits seemed to satisfy my picky sense of style. But just as I was about to leave the store we found an almost perfect one! All it took was a  bit of customising and voila..it was as pretty as I had imagined. I learned something...there may be a million choices but a self creation is unmatched!!

 

5.Pedicure:

Pampering pedicure at home...aha..what luxury!
